Here is the best sewer hose ever made, in my opinion.

It is called "Smooth-Bor". Heavy vinyl construction and no metal coil.
It is also smooth inside, so it rinses out easily and never retains any solids or liquids,
so it never smells. We have had one for 6 years and have had no leaks.
They are expensive ($20) but well worth the money.
Only drawback is it does not compress very well.
I built a 6" ABS sewer pipe holder and mounted it on the tongue in between my
batteries and the front wall of our T160. The hose does compress enough to fit
into that tube, which runs the full width of the trailer.
Dyers RV on-line has this at

I will never own any other type of sewer hose.

Sewer hose is 10 feet long compressed into 80" pipe.

This picture Shows the 6" black foam walled black ABS pipe mounted on the tongue. Straps are made from a wide serpentine fan belt fastened with fender washers and bolts. I also glued on pieces of ABS pipe on the bottom of the pipe to keep it from sliding from one end to the other when pushing the hose into it.

I used foam walled ABS pipe instead of solid wall because it is much lighter. I glued a solid cap on one end and a threaded cap on the other end. I drilled a few holes in the bottom of the pipe for air and drainage, and in each end so that air can enter the inside of the hose to dry it out when stored in the pipe.

To enable the coupling that is attached to the hose to fit inside the 6" threaded cap fitting, I had to put two notches in it to match the thumb flanges. I used a drill bit in a router to do this since that drill bit enabled me to make a deep enough notch that is deeper than the threaded part of the end fitting.

Doing this means I do not have to remove this coupling to put the hose into the pipe. The coupling will go in deep enough that the cap threads all the way in flush, and just finger tight. The cap fits over the coupling so i use the cap to push the hose into the pipe.
